Zion Canyon


The West Temple - Zion National Park

In Zion Canyon you'll find photographs of the most popular locations in the park, including Angels Landing, Court of the Patriarchs, Emerald Pools, Riverside Walk, and Weeping Rock. In addition to these popular trails, there are also albums showcasing Big Bend, Cable Mountain, Canyon Junction, Deertrap Mountain, The Great White Throne, The Grotto, Lady Mountain, Menu Falls, The Sentinel, Towers of the Virgin, and The Watchman. This canyon is the heart of Zion National Park.


Zion-Mount Carmel Highway


Zion-Mount Carmel Highway - Zion National Park

Inside this category you'll find photographs of the east side of Zion National Park. This highway leads visitors away from the main canyon, up a series of switchbacks, and through an 80 year old tunnel. After exiting the mile long tunnel, the highway continues for 6 miles until it exits the park. There are many places to stop along the way, and enjoy sights such as the Canyon Overlook, Checkerboard Mesa, Clear Creek, The East Temple, Hoodoos, and White Cliffs.


Kolob Canyons


Paria Point - Zion National Park

Inside Kolob Canyons you'll find photographs of the northwest section of the park, including the Taylor Creek and Timber Creek areas. This area was designated a national monument in 1937, eighteen years after Zion was named a National Park. The two would remain separate, until 1956 when this monument was officially incorporated as a part of Zion National Park. A 5 mile scenic drive offers splendid views and access to a number of interesting trails.


Kolob Terrace


Tabernacle Dome - Zion National Park

In this category you'll find photographs of the Kolob Plateau. This 20 mile scenic drive can be accessed from the town of Virgin, by turning north onto Kolob Reservoir Road. This road skirts the western boundary of Zion, entering and exiting the park a number of times before it reaches Kolob Reservoir. Along the way you'll gain over 4000 feet of elevation, and transition from low desert washes to lush aspen woods. A number of popular trails are located along the drive, as well as the side road to Lava Point.
